Mission

The Keeler Foundation empowers children, their families, and their communities by providing resources and support that promote health, education, and social well-being.

Funding

The Keeler Foundation makes grants to programs that support children and families facing socioeconomic barriers, including poverty, trauma, substance abuse, incarceration, and food and housing insecurity. Additionally, the Foundation funds programs that address digital communication awareness, film making, and creative arts engagement.

The Foundation funds responsive and innovative programs, organizations, and services that prioritize the following:

Early childhood education and intervention that supports the healthy development of infants, youth, and their caregivers.

Whole-family interventions that break the cycle of generational poverty and promote social mobility.

Expansion of community school and learning center models that provide wrap-around educational and social services to children and their families.

Collaborative partnerships with community leaders and advocates that promote policies to improve early childhood education and well-being outcomes.

Promotion of visual media literacy among children and youth, with a focus on raising awareness of the impact of digital communication.

Flexibility to respond to the changing needs of communities.

Incorporated as a non-profit foundation in 1994, the mission of the Keeler Foundation continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of children, their families, and their communities. The Trustees research and investigate organizations that address the Foundation's areas of interest and do not consider unsolicited proposals.
